Visual and Thermal-Capable Aerial Documentation
A drone can document roofs from angles that are difficult or unsafe to reach from the ground. Skyline captures high-resolution visual imagery and, when conditions support it, thermal imagery for review by the contractor, inspector, adjuster, engineer, or other professional responsible for evaluating the roof.
Skyline provides aerial data, not a roof certification, engineering opinion, moisture diagnosis, repair recommendation, or final inspection. Thermal patterns can be affected by sunlight, weather, materials, insulation, surface moisture, and interior conditions, so they must be interpreted in context and verified when necessary.

Thermal-Capable Roof Imaging
Under suitable environmental conditions, thermal imagery can show temperature differences across a roof surface. Those patterns may help a qualified professional identify areas that deserve closer review, but they do not by themselves confirm a leak, trapped moisture, insulation failure, or structural defect.
Visual Roof Documentation
High-resolution photographs and video can document visible shingles, tiles, flashing, seams, membranes, drainage areas, penetrations, and storm-related conditions. The client or retained professional determines what the imagery means and whether hands-on inspection is required.
Remote Review Sessions
When connectivity permits, an off-site client or specialist can view the live aerial feed and request additional angles or closer views during the scheduled flight. Performance depends on the connection available at the site and the viewer’s internet service.
Mapped and Modeled Deliverables
When the roof geometry, capture conditions, and project scope support processing, Skyline can prepare stitched imagery or a photogrammetric model for orientation, documentation, and approximate measurement. Skyline's standard roof deliverables are not survey-grade and are not intended for design use.
